My bathtub or sink drain is clogged—how do I fix it?
You can use a plunger or small hand auger, but if that doesn’t work, call a plumber.
Should I use chemical drain cleaners?
We discourage the use of chemicals for drain cleaning. While these products may achieve the desired result, they can harm your drains and pipes. Additionally, these non-biodegradable chemicals are not good for our water systems.
How do I prevent clogged drains?
Maintain your drains by routinely flushing them with hot water and a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. Make sure to install proper drain covers to prevent debris from entering each drain, and avoid disposing of cooking oils down the drain, as they can solidify in the pipes and cause blockages.
Why is my toilet running so frequently?
It’s possible the lift chain might be tangled, there could be an issue with the flapper or the fill valve is worn out and not turning off.
Why is my shower pressure so weak?
A weak shower pressure may be due to the accumulation of debris and other waste substances that have clogged your shower head. We recommend having your shower head replaced.
Why do I hear an intermittent humming noise in my bathroom?
Most of the time this sound is caused by a worn out fill valve in the toilet.
I live in a condo and I hear gurgling in my drain but I’m not using my sink.
This is an indication the drainage stack is partially blocked. We recommend calling a plumber as soon as possible.
How often should drainage stacks be cleaned?
We recommend yearly cleaning. This is a service we specialize in—give us a call!
